Exploring Microsoft Tunnel (Part 3)

Over the last two blog posts, we went over some of the pre-requisites and configuration required to setup Microsoft Tunnel. In this post, we will show the solution in action.

The sequence of events will be as follows

  • Launch of iOS App that is tied to the MS Tunnel VPN (Once it’s launched you will see the VPN icon show up on the top right side of the phone.)
  • MS Tunnel established in the background
  • Using iOS app to access resources on the corporate network or in my case, home network.
  • Microsoft Tunnel is a separate app which is used as the interface to prompt for modern authentication. You will have to occasionally re-authenticate based on conditional access policies, timeout settings, etc.
